WHY WE WON'T BE SERVING SHARK FIN AT OUR BANQUET:
As long time anti-shark fin soup supporters, it was a very difficult journey towards arriving at our current agreement with our families, who hold strong traditional values and a desire for all things considered proper practice in a chinese wedding banquet. Although the process was challenging, we felt adamant that harm and abuse towards sharks, for the benefit of materialistic and face value is not ethical nor moral. Thus, continuous negotiations and explanations eventually paved way towards our current agreement to go shark-free.
